pompanuck farm institute and eco-retreat center is in the hills of White Creek, NY, just fifteen minutes northwest of Bennington, VT, 3.5 hours by car from Montreal, New York City and Boston. The center is situated on 78 acres of field, forest and streams, surrounded by 2800 acres of state forest. Incorporated and operated as a not-for-profit organization since 1991. In 2004, we received 501c-3 status as a federal charitable organization. Pompanuck offers educational opportunities for children and adults in a wide variety of subjects - music, theatre, visual arts, dance, circus, and natural-building arts. Pompanuck's Roundhouse has been the site of concerts, lectures, public and private events, and meetings. Some of the events we have hosted include; The International Cordwood Building Conference, benefits for local and international organizations, and our annual Memorial Day Arts Celebration. |

Our community has organized and hosted classes and workshops in yoga, TaiJi, bodywork and international cooking, as well as retreats, and other causes for occasion including weddings, births, and memorials. We've offered weeklong outdoor education opportunities for local and regional schools and disadvantaged teenagers from N.Y.C. and local County programs. We have given guided tours of our unique buildings and organic gardens to colleges and social service agencies and the many, many people who have visited Pompanuck.
